In order to better serve our membership, the Ohio High School Athletic Association will be moving our internal staff email services to the Microsoft Office 365 platform beginning Thursday, April 17, after business hours. Minster Native Katie Horstman Named to National High School Hall of Fame
April 14 - Katie Horstman, a native of Minster, Ohio, who coached teams at her alma mater to nine state championships, has been named to the 2014 induction class into the National High School Hall of Fame. Katie was an athletic pioneer who opened the door for women in sports, beginning with her playing days in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL) in the early 1950s. Referendum Items Approved to go to Membership for Vote
The initial set of referendum items was approved by the OHSAA Board of Directors at its December board meeting and several items were added at the February board meeting. Other referendum items could be added in March. Member schools will vote on the referendum items in May. Click here for the initial set.

OHSAA Issues Guidance for Schools Following Changes in State Law

OHSAA Issues Guidance on New State Law and Forfeitures

Due to recent changes in state law, the OHSAA has issued guidance for member schools regarding students who are home educated or who attend non-public schools that do not sponsor sports.

OHSAA Adopts Updated Concussion Regulations

At its February 2013 monthly meeting, the OHSAA Board of Directors approved a new OHSAA Concussion Policy and Regulations, which brings OHSAA member schools into compliance with the recently passed Ohio House Bill 143.
