State Tournament Media Credential
Information:
The following information was prepared to assist you with your
coverage of the upcoming OHSAA tennis state tournaments. Please
contact Tim Stried (tstried@ohsaa.org or 614-267-2502, ext. 124)
at the OHSAA office should you have additional questions.
Previews and additional information will be posted on the OHSAA
web site (www.ohsaa.org) the week of each state tournament.
DATES:
Friday and Saturday, Oct 23 and
24.
Matches begin at 9 a.m. each day.
LOCATION:
Friday's matches will be played at The Stickney
Tennis Center, located at 2491 Olentangy River Road, adjacent to the Woody Hayes Athletic
Center. Saturday's
semifinal and final matches will be played at Hilliard Davidson
High School
PAIRINGS: Complete pairings will be posted on the OHSAA Web site
(www.ohsaa.org) no
later than noon Tues, Oct 19.
MEDIA CREDENTIALS: No advance requests needed. Media members must show company
identification (company ID card or letter from superior on company letterhead) for
admittance.
PARKING:
Some parking is available at
the Stickney Tennis Center. Additional parking is available in
the Buckeye Lots, which are located west of the Stickney Tennis
Center off of Fred Taylor Drive. To get to the Buckeye Lots,
take the Ackerman Road exit off of State Route 315 and head
east. At the first light, turn right on to Fred Taylor Drive and
follow a short distance until you reach the Buckeye Lots on the
right. Once you exit your vehicle, walk east and pass the north
side of the Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium followed by the north
side of the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, and you will arrive at
the Stickney Tennis Center on your left.
