Early Ohio High School State Football Champions Compiled
April 27 - Before the Associated Press began naming state football champions in 1947, there were several organizations and media outlets that named state champions. Now, for the first time, the list has been compiled by OHSAA historian Tim Hudak that has the state football champions back to 1895. Click here for more.

NFHS Announces Rule Changes for 2012
Feb. 9 - The National Federation of State High School Associations has approved rules changes for the 2012 football season. Changes include addition to rule where high school football players must sit out one play next year if their helmet comes off while the ball is live. Click here to read more.

Maty Mauk Passes Peers into National Record Book
Jan. 13 - Kenton senior quarterback, Maty Mauk, set five national high school football records during his four-year career for the Wildcats. The OHSAA, with Kenton High School, recently submitted his records to the NFHS for approval. Click here to read more.

2011 Ohio Football Nike Rivalry Contest
Nov. 17 - Vote for your favorite team Rivalry story! The winning football team will take the field next year wearing a customized Nike Pro Combat Uniform- the lightest, most breathable and durable football system of dress Nike has ever created.
