OHSAA Boys Basketball State Tournament Pairings and Information
97th annual state tournament tips off at noon Thursday at the Schottenstein Center
 
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The 97th Annual Ohio High School Athletic Association boys basketball state tournament tips off at noon Thursday at the Jerome Schottenstein Center in Columbus. Nearly 800 schools began the 2018-19 season in November and now 16 have advanced to the state tournament. The state tournament pairings and schedule is listed below.
 
New this year, the state semifinals Thursday and Friday will be doubleheader sessions, with two games for one ticket per division. The sessions begin at noon and 6:00 Thursday and Friday. The divisional rotation this year is III, II, IV and I.
 
All 12 games will be available on a pay-per-view live video stream (free for Spectrum subscribers) on the OHSAA website and broadcast live by the OHSAA Radio Network. The championship games Saturday will be televised live on Spectrum News 1 (channel 1).

Basketball State Tournament Media Credentials
For this week’s boys basketball state tournament, media are asked to apply for credentials by noon Tuesday using forms and information posted at: https://www.ohsaa.org/news/credentials
 
Media Teleconference Monday
The head coaches of the 16 schools that have qualified for the state tournament will be available for 10 minutes each on a media teleconference Monday. Please contact Tim Stried at the OHSAA for details.
 
All-Ohio Teams Announced this Week
Beginning Tuesday, the boys basketball All-Ohio teams as selected by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association will be announced. The Division III and IV teams will be announced Tuesday, followed by the Division I and II teams Wednesday. Ohio Mr. Basketball will be announced Thursday morning.
 
OHSAA Radio Network Information – 2019 Basketball State Tournaments
The OHSAA Radio Network will broadcast all 12 games from the boys basketball state tournament. The network broadcasts are available at: https://www.ohsaa.org/news/radio
