The athletic administrator must indicate their school’s intent to participate in the OHSAA gymnastics tournament through myOHSAA.   Monday, January 20, 2025 is the established deadline for entry or withdrawal without penalty.  In addition, all coaches, approved by your school's Board of Education or governing body, must be entered on the school's OHSAA Gymnastics Tournament Emergencty Contact form through the school's myOHSAA.

State Team Tournament Qualifiers: The top three teams advance to the State Team Tournament on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
State Individual Tournament Qualifiers: Top eight individuals in each event advance to the State Tournament on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

Seeding and Draw Procedures

CDAB Tournament Seeding February 6 - 9, 2025

Seeding: All seeding will be conducted on-line using the Central District web site (OHSAA.org/CDAB). Complete instructions for each school was emailed to the Athletic Director for distribution to the head coach the week of  January 13, 2025.  General instructions are posted here. For school specific login credentials, see the email sent to the AD. For seeding purposes only, a school must have 4 competitors per event to be considered a team. Schools with 3 or fewer competitors per event will register competitors as individuals.

Coaches Draw Meeting: A mandatory meeting of coaches entering teams will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at 4:00 p.m., virtually using Microsoft Teams. Each school must be represented by its coach, school administrator or authorized school representative.  Complete instructions to access the virtual meeting using Microsoft Teams will be available during the seeding process.

Virtual Coaches Meeting Information: Bob Britton ([email protected]) will email each coach the links to their specific required coaches meetings prior to those meetings.  Coaches are encouraged to print any materials provided in those emails to expedite the selection process. 

Please adhere to the seeding and meeting deadlines below as there are penalties for each missed deadline.

  • Thursday, February 6, 2025

    • 3:00 p.m. - Seed Voting Begins
  • Friday, February 7, 2025 - 3:00 p.m. - Seed Voting Ends
  • Sunday, February 9, 2025 - 4:00 p.m. - VIRTUAL MANDATORY MEETING OF COACHES ENTERING TEAMS
VIRTUAL MANDATORY COACHES MEETINGS using MICROSOFT TEAMS: 
Coaches of schools entering teams must participate in the mandatory VIRTUAL coaches meetings. Coaches should download the free Microsoft Teams app to the device they will be using for the meetings.  Here is the link that will allow you to create a free Microsoft Teams account.  Please create your free account prior to Friday, February 7, 2025.

The Central District Athletic Board and gymnastics schools honored Marty McLain and Debbie White at the 2024 Central District Gymnastics Tournament for their years of service as past tournament directors for the OHSAA Central District.  Thank you for your hard work and dedication to the sport of gymnastics and the Central District gymnastics community.
