Contests not selected by the NFHS Network are available for live video streaming, live television, or tape-delayed television with payment of a rights fee. Football Playoff Credentials and Press Box Seating
In consultation with the OHSAA’s Media Advisory Committee, a priority seating scale has been established for press boxes during the football playoffs. Host sites are asked to adhere to the scale according to the media list submitted by the two schools participating at their site. The memo is posted at: https://ohsaaweb.blob.core.windows.net/files/Sports/Football/FB-MediaPressBoxMemo.pdf

Media Coverage
The OHSAA encourages media coverage of all games and working media members are not counted toward the capacity limits for spectators. Media must wear a facial covering at all times.

Please see page 1 of the 2020-21 OHSAA Media Regulations for additional information regarding media coverage of high school sports during the COVID-19 pandemic: https://ohsaaweb.blob.core.windows.net/files/News/Media/OHSAA-Media-Regulations.pdf

Approval and placement of media members will be determined by the host school Athletic Director depending on the layout of the facility. Due to social distancing regulations, there may not be space available for media inside some football press boxes. Also regarding football, at field level, media members must be outside the team box, which has been expanded this season to span from the 10-yard line to the opposite 10-yard line. Media must also stay at least two yards back from the in-play field boundary.

As always, media should contact the host school’s Athletic Director well in advance of game day to request permission to attend and, if approved, discuss their placement and access during the game. Media are not permitted in the locker room.
