OHSAA Football This Week on Spectrum, NFHS and OHSAA Radio Network
Spectrum to cover 18 regional quarterfinal games Friday night; more than 20 games on NFHS Network, OHSAA Radio Network Playoff Preview Show linked
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio High School Athletic Association football playoffs kicked off last Friday night and now half the qualifying field has advanced to this week’s regional quarterfinals. Spectrum and the NFHS Network have announced their game coverage, and the OHSAA Radio Network has posted its second weekly Playoff Preview Show. The video version of the Playoff Preview Show will be posted on the OHSAA’s social media platforms on Thursday.

Harding at Hudson, Brecksville-Broadview Heights at Avon, Westerville South at Massillon Washington, Lima Senior at Troy, Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph at Chagrin Falls Kenston, Bellefontaine at London, and Portsmouth at Wheelersburg.
Playoff Coverage on the OHSAA Radio Network
In this week’s show, host Marty Bannister chats with OHSAA Executive Director Doug Ute. The show includes regional reports from David Wilson (OHSAA Radio Network, Sandusky Bay Conference), Ryan Baker (Columbus WBNS Radio), Chris Solwecki (OHSAA Radio Network), Mike Dyer (Cincinnati WCPO-TV), Mark Kunz (Toledo BCSN), Aaron Cassady (Marietta WMOA, Southeastern Ohio), TJ Downing (Stark County Media) and Todd Walker (Lima WIMA).
The show includes one local break (2:00) after Doug Ute’s interview for stations to insert their own spots.
All seven football state championship games will be broadcast by the OHSAA Radio Network. Stations that have not yet entered into affiliate status can contact Tim Stried at
[email protected]. There is no fee to carry OHSAA Radio Network programming and there are 24 local avails in each game. Network game broadcasts are available through Skyview Satellite or an online feed.
