Division I Recap
Cincinnati St. Xavier sophomore Carson Dwyer won the Division I singles state champion, defeating New Albany’s Abhinav Dandu 6-2, 6-2.
Dwyer is the first singles state champion from Cincinnati St. Xavier.
In doubles, senior Nicholas Choo and freshman Chase Klugo won Cincinnati Sycamore its seventh doubles state championship. The duo defeated Chase Homan and Nihal Narisetty from Cincinnati St. Xavier, by a score of 6-2, 6-2.
Division II Recap
Henry Lessard won his first state championship as a freshman, and sixth singles championship for Bexley. Lessard defeated Pepper Pike Orange senior Chika Nwaozuzu 6-7, 6-3, 6-3. Nwaozuzu won a doubles state championship for Pepper Pike Orange in 2023 and 2021.
In doubles, Lexington senior Ethan Remy and junior Dylan Catanese defeated Pepper Pike Orange senior’s Gabi Kalir and Ace Bloom. The duo won Lexington its first doubles state championship, with a score of 6-2, 7-5.
