  • Top 50 Performance List – Coaches and School Administrators
    • The Top 50 Performance List is posted on www.baumspage.com and updated daily as the track and field season progresses. 
    • The final date to participate in a qualifying meet is Monday, May 6, 2019 and all qualifying marks must be submitted by the meet manager before 10:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6th.  NO EXCEPTIONS!
    • Qualifying marks (both running and field events) will ONLY be accepted from meets held between March 23, 2019, and May 6, 2019 that use Fully Automatic Timing.
    • Only athletes with results from qualifying meets that participated as part of an OHSAA member school will be listed on the Top 50 Performance List.  In addition, that OHSAA member school must have authorized their athletes to participate in the state championship through the junior high/middle school’s myOHSAA account on or before March 23, 2019.
    • Coaches are encouraged to review this list DAILY.  If results are missing or there are errors, please follow-up with the meet host to make sure the correct data has been submitted.
    • Coaches should check the Top 50 Performance list after 12:01 AM on Tuesday, May 7 and contact [email protected] or call Gary Baumgartner 513-594-6154 or Terry Young 740-517-0195 if there are any errors or duplicate names.
    • Coaches with athletes on the Top 50 Performance list MUST CREATE AN ACCOUNT on Baumspage.com prior to May 6.
  • ​State Tournament Qualifiers - Coaches and School Administrator:
    • Athletes with the Top 24 marks including ties on the Top 50 Performance List will qualify to the 2019 OHSAA 7th and 8th Grade State Track and Field Championships to be held on May 11, 2019.  See additional information below.
    • In order to ensure a full field of competitors, the coaches of athletes or relays in the Top 32 places listed on the performance list MUST LOGIN to their Baumspage.com account beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, and either ACCEPT or DECLINE participation of their athlete(s) or relay by 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2019
      • Coaches that do not currently have an account on baumspage.com should establish their account by May 4!

        • ​​Coaches should review their roster to confirm that all names and grades for the athletes listed are correct!
      • Athletes and relays not marked as accepted by the deadline will be marked as DECLINED. 
      • Call Gary Baumgartner at 513-594-6154 or Terry Young at 740-517-0195 if you need immediate help.
      • Acceptance for athletes not in the top 24 including ties will be conditional until after 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at which time the final list of participants will be reviewed by the committee and published when approved.
        • Please report errors in the final performance list to [email protected] immediately!
        • The committee reserves the right to make adjustments as necessary.
        All coaches must check the FINAL LIST of participants after the deadline!
        • NO personal telephone calls or emails will be made to inform schools of their qualifiers.   Only the procedures listed above, where coaches accept or decline their qualifier’s participation via Baumspage.com and then review the final list of participants will be utilized.
  • State Championship Schedule of Events - May 11, 2019:
    • Field events will begin at 9:30 a.m.
    • Running events will begin at 11:30 a.m.
    • Timed finals for all running events - 3 seeded heats
    • 10 running events and 5 field events
    • 3 events for seated athletes will be sponsored - 100M, 400M, Shot Put
    • An athlete may participate in a maximum of 3 total events including relays
    • Entry fee is $10.00 per athlete-per event.  The OHSAA will invoice schools after the meet
