OHSAA Football State Championships on Spectrum and OHSAA Radio Network
Spectrum News 1 to televise all seven state championship games; OHSAA Radio Network Playoff Preview Show linked
 
COLUMBUS, Ohio – On July 29, 707 high schools in Ohio began football practice, and now 14 have advanced to play for a state championship this weekend in Canton. Spectrum News 1 will have coverage of all seven games live from Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
 
In addition, the OHSAA Radio Network will broadcast all seven games and has posted its weekly Playoff Preview Show for stations to download and play prior to their own pregame shows or as part of their weekly programming. This week’s show includes a preview of the state championship games from several of the broadcasters who will call the games for Spectrum and the OHSAA Radio Network. The show includes one local break (2:00) after the walking tour of the stadium for stations to insert their own spots.
 
The state championship games will be broadcast by the OHSAA Radio Network. There is no fee to carry OHSAA Radio Network programming and there are 24 local avails in each game. Network game broadcasts are available through Skyview Satellite or an online feed.
