State Tournament Broadcast Information and OHSAA “Tournament Tipoff” Pregame Show #7
The OHSAA boys basketball state tournament tips off Thursday morning at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus and the OHSAA Radio Network will have all 12 games. Thirty-six affiliates are set to air network broadcasts and every game is available at:

Spectrum will televise all 12 games on Channel 311 (and 510 in former Insight areas) and will live stream each game at MySpectrumSports.com. For those outside of the Spectrum areas, a pay-per-view streaming option is available, as well. Details are included at

Weekly “Tournament Tipoff” Show #7
This week’s “OHSAA Tournament Tipoff” basketball pregame show is posted at the link below. In this show, host Marty Bannister from EBSN, Spectrum and the OHSAA Radio Network interviews boys basketball analyst Jeff Rapp. This week’s show also includes regional reports from Scott Leo in Central Ohio, David Wilson in Northeast Ohio, Todd Walker in Northwest Ohio and Justin Kinner in Southwest Ohio.
Stations are encouraged to use the tipoff shows prior to their own pregame show of basketball broadcast. The show includes one local break (2:00 plus :10 joiner) so stations can insert their own spots (see format below).

OHSAA Radio Network Programming

Play-by-Play Broadcasts: The network broadcasts the football state championship games, the girls and boys basketball state tournaments, the softball state tournament and the baseball state tournament. Network broadcasts include program logs, local avails and sub-audible tones. Stations that carry network broadcasts can see a reduction or elimination of their regional and state tournament rights fees.

Basketball Pregame Shows: The network produces a series of weekly basketball pregame shows that include statewide interviews and updates, state tournament previews and audio highlights. The pregame shows are 25 minutes long and include a 2-minute local break. Stations are encouraged to utilize the pregame shows before their own pregame shows of their tournament broadcasts.

Football Playoff Preview Show: The network produces a football playoff preview show in early November, the day after the final computer points are announced. The show explains the playoff format and schedule and goes around the state to break down the playoff field.
