Coldwater Boys Win
Second Team Bowling State Championship
Warren Champion�s Simmons wins individual state title
COLUMBUS, Ohio � After
losing the first game in the championship round, Coldwater defeated
Springfield Kenton Ridge in three consecutive games to win the 2012
OHSAA boys state bowling team championship at Wayne Webb�s Bowl in
Columbus on Friday.
The team state title is
the Cavaliers� second. Coldwater had previously won in the bowling state
tournament�s first year, 2007.
In individual
competition, Warren Champion sophomore Danny Simmons claimed top honors
bowling an aggregate score of 702 in three games.

Coldwater Girls Win
First Team Bowling State Championship
Pickerington North�s Beeghley wins individual title
COLUMBUS, Ohio � The
Coldwater girls bowling team rolled to its first team state
championship, winning in three straight games Saturday at the 2012 OHSAA
girls bowling state tournament held at Wayne Webb�s Columbus Bowl.
The team state title is
the Cavaliers� first in girls bowling. Coldwater�s Crystal Boyer had
previously won an individual title in 2011. The 2012 Cavalier girls team
joins the boys team as OHSAA bowling state champions.
In individual
competition, Pickerington North junior Brittany Beeghley claimed the
state championship with an aggregate score of 654 in three games.
