MEDIA ADVISORY: OHSAA Fall Tournaments Information
Your source for state tournament media credentials, press releases, feature story links, photography regulations, OHSAA Radio Network information, media regulations, tournament broadcast rates, record books, historical information and much more.
Each sport page at
www.OHSAA.org contains information updated weekly, such as state coaches polls and tournament information and brackets (for team sports). The sport pages also contain regulations, rules changes, officiating bulletins and more.
In addition, the football page also contains composite schedules for all schools, a statewide broadcast list, weekly polls and notebooks from the Associated Press, TV schedules and weekly computer points.
Credentials for Sectional, District and Regional Tournament Contests
Please contact the site manager for credentials to sectional, district and regional tournament contests, as well as state semifinal contests in soccer and football. Contact information can be found on the respective sport page at OHSAA.org and on the brackets for soccer, volleyball and football.

Radio stations: Learn more about the OHSAA Radio Network’s coverage of the football state championships (see additional note below). Affiliates can have waived broadcast fees throughout the playoffs by carrying two or more state championship broadcasts.
OHSAA Radio Network Set for Football Championships
The OHSAA Radio Network will broadcast all seven football state championship games Dec. 1-3. The broadcasts are free for stations to carry and can result in waived broadcast fees for local stations throughout the playoffs. Program logs are created for each game so local stations can insert their own inventory if they desire. The broadcast feed is available through Skyview Satellite, or an online link. Official TV Partner
Later in October, the OHSAA will announce updates to its official television partner, which has exclusivity over the tournament contest that it selects. Details are forthcoming.
Regional Pairings Released Oct. 30
The OHSAA will release regional pairings in football, volleyball, girls soccer and boys soccer on Sunday, Oct. 30. In addition, a weekly football playoff notes packet will be released every Sunday.
State Tournament Credentials
Media are to request credentials in advance for the cross country, soccer, volleyball and football state tournaments at the link above. The OHSAA will email a confirmation memo to each media outlet when processing state tournament credential requests. The memo contains important information such as parking details, credential pick-up locations, etc. For the golf, girls tennis and field hockey state tournaments, media shall show company identification on site to pick up credentials.
