Gray Course (Par 70, 5,560 yards). After taking a 10 stroke lead on day
one, Dayton Chaminade-Julienne held off a furious comeback by Poland
Seminary to win its first state title with a two-day score of 710.
CJ was led by junior Mikaela Hadaway

and seventh in 2010.
After falling behind on day one, Poland
Seminary fought wind gusts of up to 37 mph to shoot the best team score
of the day (351), but it wasnt enough to catch CJ as the Bulldogs
finished with a two-day score of 713, three shy of the title. Warren
John F. Kennedy (731), Lima Central Catholic (749) and Gates Mills
Hawken (751) rounded out the top five.
Haylee Hartford (Fr., Warren John F.
Kennedy) started out her high school career with an individual medalist
performance, posting a 71-75-146. Columbus Wellington Schools Annie
Miller and Pepper
Pike Orange's Brynn FitzGerald
were the
co-individual runner-ups, posting a 77-76-153

The 2011 Ohio High School Athletic

at NorthStar Golf Club (Par 72, 6796 yards) in Sunbury. The tournament
concluded after golfers faced two days of windy conditions and cool
